Renter must be at least 25 years of age with a valid driver’s license in the United States. No international driver licenses are accepted without the approval of Capps Management. Renter must have and present at time of rental, a major credit/debit card in their name. The debit/credit card will be charged for the entire amount of rental at time of vehicle pickup.
Proof of Insurance is required on all vehicle rentals. Insurance must be in Renters Name. RENTER MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF INSURANCE AT OR BEFORE RENTAL. INSURANCE MUST BE VERIFIED BY CAPPS PERSONNEL TO BE IN RENTERS NAME AND HAVE AT LEAST “STATE MINIMUMS” OF INSURANCE COVERAGE
Up to 2 additional drivers are allowed per rental contract. To be listed as an additional driver, individual must be present at time of vehicle rental and show proof of valid United States driver license. Additional drivers must be at least 25 years of age.
Loss Damage Waiver (LDW)
Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) – covers all physical damage to Capps vehicle only. LDW will cover renter plus 2 additional authorized drivers. For additional drivers to be covered , they must be a minimum of 25 years of age with a valid United States Driver’s License and present at rental counter at time of rental to sign Rental agreement. Please contact a Capps Representative for full details. LDW IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR COMMERCIAL RENTALS REGARDLESS OF VEHICLE CLASS. LDW IS NOT AVAILABLE ON CARGO VANS OR SUBURBAN.
Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) – Covers 3rd Party damage caused by renter and authorized additional drivers. Please call Capps Representative for full details. SLI is available on all vehicle classes.
TAXES
Taxes are not included in rental rates and will vary from state to state.
PROPERTY TAX SURCHARGE
Your rental may be subject to an additional charge for Property Tax Surcharge.
STADIUM/ARENA TAX
Your rental may be subject to a 5% Stadium/Arena tax at certain locations.
Rates are in U.S. dollars (USD). Payments are to be made in U.S. dollars.
After hours drop is available at most Capps locations. Renter’s responsibility for rental vehicle and rental charges will not end until vehicles is checked in the next morning by a Capps Representative. Most Capps locations provide a key drop box, please contact your local Capps location for details.
Renter must return vehicle with the same amount of fuel as vehicle had at time of original rental pickup. If renter does not bring vehicles back with the same fuel level, a refueling charge of $10.00 per gallon will be assessed. No refunds will be given for excess fuel left in vehicle at time of return.

One-way rentals are only allowed between locations in the same metro area. Please contact your local Capps location for details.
15 Passenger Van Rentals are allowed to travel to Mexico with Capps management approval. Proof of Mexico Insurance must be presented at time of picking up vehicle from Capps. Capps assumes no responsibility, nor does it guarantee vehicle entry into Mexico. Renter takes all responsibility in their attempt to take a Capps vehicle to Mexico.
